BELLEVILLE – Two Illinois men, alongside two minors, are suing a family member, alleging the defendant caused an automobile accident injured three of them.
Connor J. Burns and Eric M. Burns, minors, through their father Daryl R. Burns Jr., and Daryl R. Burns III filed a lawsuit Nov. 20 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Alexander W. Burns.
According to the complaint, on Nov. 28, 2013, the minor plaintiffs and plaintiff Burns III were passengers in a vehicle operated by Alexander Burns on Schmidt Road in the township of Smithton. The plaintiffs seek at least $50,000 each, plus court costs and attorney fees. They are represented by attorney Jason R. Caraway of Kolker Law Offices PC in Belleville.
